Dear all, I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron N5010 refurbished from Dell (Win 7 64bit home) and it came with SRS Premium Sound. The trouble is that the sound gets 'scratchy' after the laptop has been booted for a while. It is fine after a nice fresh boot. The sound out of both the speakers and the headphone jack is affected, which makes me think it is a driver problem. I'm using the latest driver which shows up as IDT High Definition Audio Codec in the control panel. Has anyone else had and solved this problem? Or does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot?
